The Woman-Ruled World: Wen Zhao Reigns Supreme

Zhao Wenzhao was born into a distinguished family and had earned great military honors. She thought that having a royal consort from a prestigious family who cherished her made her one of the luckiest members of the imperial house. But she never imagined that someone as close to her as her elder imperial sister harbored unspeakable feelings for her, imprisoning her for half a year. She eventually escaped by chance, only to be gravely wounded and rescued by the male-dominated emperor… After seven years of recuperation, she returned to her country, determined to overthrow her sister’s rule and avenge herself!

The official history of Fengming records that Emperor Wenzhao reigned for more than thirty years before dying of illness, and her Imperial Noble Consort followed her in death. After that, only Emperor Huaijing (Huaijing is a posthumous title) remained. Fengming had lost a tyrannical ruler, but far away in the northwest, a vassal prince consort named Zhao appeared…
