Seeking Immortality

In the ancient world, immortals, demons, and mortals all lived together.

The immortals called themselves Heaven and treated all living things as mere straw dogs!

The demons called themselves Earth and treated all living things as nourishment!

Mortals stole the arts of immortals and demons, called themselves cultivators, and sought to seize their place and attain the fruit of immortality!

After tens of thousands of years of cultivation, the Heavenly Gate was forged, finally separating immortals, demons, and mortals, and ushering in a golden age for humankind.

Hundreds of thousands of years passed. People in the mortal realm no longer knew of immortals above or demons below. They knew only that one could climb the path of immortality or fall into the demonic way!

I came from the mortal realm to reopen the Heavenly Gate, seeking not only immortality, but also the way of mortals!
