The Bewitching Fragrance

(A princess in distress x a charming, ascetic national preceptor) On the night of the Lantern Festival, when people released sky lanterns, the ten-year-old Sixth Princess of Nanzhao fell from a high platform. The Witch King sent people to search for her for three days and three nights, but they never found her body. In the end, they could only bury her in the imperial cemetery with a tomb containing her clothes and crown. On a dark and stormy night, a woman covered in blood slowly raised her lovely, lotus-like face, using her bewitching charms to beg for help. Her starry eyes shimmered as she said, “Immortal, save me.” But the man, who looked as if he had descended from heaven, gazed at her with distant, inscrutable eyes and replied, “Life and death are fated.” He lured her into his trap, and she walked right into it. The more composed they seemed, the more completely they lost their composure. In the end, who could remain unmoved when the flowers bloomed in all their glory?
