Dream of the Red Chamber: A Maid’s Schemes

The plot is pretty good, the little girl Xue Yan is smart, brave and decisive, she counterattacks and becomes the princess, and her lover eventually gets married. But the changes to the original character setting of Red Mansion are a bit big, especially the portrayal of Xue Baochai as a sinister, mean, stingy and jealous businesswoman. I still can't accept it.

Although the plot is relatively bland and there are no exciting scenes of so-called ups and downs, it is warm and natural. The story is also short and concise, not protracted; there are fewer typos and not many name confusions. Among the online novels I have read, this is a rare rating of five (full marks).

After the original work and the adaptation, the character Lin Daiyu becomes more likable

It's been a long time since I've read a book completely, and I'm still not used to it. I'd like to give it a good review (o^^o)

The story ends in an ordinary way, and the story progresses just enough for you, not too fast, not too slow, unlike some books that make you anxious while reading. There are also bad guys, and they will be solved in a short time, so they won't make you feel bored. There are also emotional lines in the book, but they are very light. The male protagonist likes them. The heroine, the heroine also likes the hero. If they can be together, they will be happy. If they really can't be together, they will be sad and sad, but they will not be desperate. They feel that love is just like this. Emotions that are too hot will always fade and eventually become hateful.

It's like it was written by a child. I only read the 1987 edition of Red Mansions and similar youth editions. I didn't read the real classical Chinese version of Dream of Red Mansions. It over-exaggerated the heroine's abilities and made her look like a lady and a genius. It was speechless. The writing style was also very childish and the ending of the main character was not told. I have a bad review. I have read many books and this is the only bad review.

It's a very good plot, but I feel that the writing at the end is very hasty and a bit sloppy. It's a pity that there are no extra chapters, and the length is a bit short. Everything else is fine, there are no particularly abrupt plot twists, and the overall story is smooth and smooth.

It's really good-looking. The characters are vividly drawn. The protagonist Xue Yan is also vividly portrayed. He is brave, resourceful, smart, and has all kinds of lovely friends to help him. There are majestic fellow travelers who care about him, there is a dedicated man who vents his anger for the heroine, and there is a funny villain who takes the blame for himself... There is a suspense at the end. I think this book is worth reading. Don't you hurry up if you like it?

As a fan of the original work, I can only say that the writing is 60-70% effective, the plot is not bad, and beats 90% of similar derivatives. Those who like to watch Dream of Red Mansions can watch it.

Not bad, but it ended too quickly.
