I think the writing is quite good. It took me a few days to read it in one sitting. The brotherhood between Chen Xuan and Doufu is so rare and sincere. Although it seems that Doufu is just a joke, silly and cute, and thinks he is a drag, but he has always been sincere to the protagonist. It is rare to have a confidant in life!!! It's just that the ending was a bit surprising to me. It would have been nice if Bai Shuang had not died, so that he and Tofu could be happily together. It would have been nice if Wu Shui had not died. Even though he was just the shadow of Chen Zi, even though he was cold, I still felt that it was a pity. It worried me more than the death of his grandfather and father. I thought that Chen Xuan and the heroine could be together, after all, they were born and died together so many times, but in the end, they just had different paths and did not work together. What is even more annoying is that the truth that generations of people have followed is just inheritance!

I feel very lucky about this ending. Chen Xuan is not dead and Tofu is still doing his thing. Well, this is a book, and not all protagonists are successful. Only when there are unsolved mysteries can you linger on.
