The Yin-Fated Woman and Her Paper-Man Husband

I married the paper figure my mother-in-law had been pasting together for twenty years.

I was born with an ominous yin fate, making me irresistible to those things, like the legendary monk Tang Sanzang.

On my wedding day, I carried the paper figure from house to house to hand out wedding sweets. The villagers cursed me as ill-omened, laughed and called me crazy, and the old bachelors took every chance to make lewd remarks.

That night, every villager who had cursed me, laughed at me, or taken liberties with me died.

My gorgeous ghost husband had taken revenge for me.

I had to cling to this powerful thigh.

Fox Immortal Hu Jin, aloof and sharp-tongued, came along too. He disliked me, yet insisted that I make a pact with him.

“This is a pact of life and death. If you live, I live. If you die, I die. We shall live and die together for all eternity.”

Flower Demon: “Madam plucked the first flower I've grown in a thousand years. From now on, I belong to Madam.”

Rakshasa Ghost King: “Madam, is your husband dead yet? Would you like me to send him on his way?”
