Beast Taming: My Dad Delivers Takeout, but He Rides a Qilin

Lin Yan was poor.

His beast-taming space was the lowest grade, and his contracted pet beast was a mud monster that could only spit mud. His family was in debt to loan sharks, his lame dad coughed up blood every day, and he rode a shedding mutt to deliver takeout. Life was so miserable they could barely scrape together enough to eat.

Then the [Make Dad a Dragon System] activated.

If his dad completed special training, Lin Yan could get god-tier resources to strengthen his mud monster and increase his mental power!

So Lin Yan steeled himself.

Weighted long-distance runs, push-ups, burpees, winter swims in icy rivers. The medicine wasn't strong enough? Increase the dose! The training wasn't hard enough? Double it!

Lin Yan looked at him with concern. "Dad, hang in there. I'll definitely cure you!"

His father, Lin Dachuan, was about to lose his mind.

He was the Supreme Venerable who had once subdued the star sea. Every day, he had to suppress the power to destroy heaven and earth inside him while pretending to be out of breath and weak in the legs, all in the hope that his own son would go easy on him.

The broken-legged old yellow dog had it even worse.

As an ancient pureblood Burning Heaven Qilin, it could scare transcendent pet beasts unconscious just by breathing. Now it was on a leash, forced to join weighted morning runs and lie dead in mud pits.

From then on, Pingcheng had a strange father and son.

The son desperately tried to cure his father, while the father desperately pretended to be sick.

Until one day, the beasts surrounded the city and the mighty descended.

Lin Dachuan sighed and climbed onto the qilin. "Son, your deliveries are done. I'll go win you an empire while I'm at it."
