Doomsday Choices: I Can Farm Choice Rewards Without Limit

Six months into the apocalypse, you have to risk your life just to get a full meal.

Chen Mo is just an unremarkable refugee in Sanhe Town. On the day the grain screens appeared, everyone crowded around to climb a condemned building that could collapse at any moment. He chose the concrete hut with the starving dog locked inside.

Ten minutes later, he emerged covered in blood, a bag of coarse grain in his hand and three new lines of text before his eyes.

[You have unlocked: Multiple-Choice Fields]

[Choices you pass can be planted in the field.]

[You may harvest once a day.]

The screens in the wasteland vanish as soon as you clear them. For a bag of food or a gun, dozens of people will risk their lives, and even those who make it out alive have to watch their backs in case someone steals their prize.

But Chen Mo can plant the screens he clears in his field.

Today he harvests grain. Tomorrow, he harvests again. The first time, a starving dog bites through his arm. The second time, he crushes its skull underfoot. If he tries enough times, even the most perilous choices can be turned into a steady harvest.

Food, medicine, vehicles, firearms, even the sequences that let people step into the supernatural can all grow from his field.

While other camps are still spilling blood over a single purple screen, Chen Mo has already loaded up a convoy and is rolling across the wasteland with his people.

Someone blocks his way. He raises his gun and chambers a round.

"My food, my land, my rules. If you want to take them, leave your life behind."
