You Were Sent as an Imperial Envoy, So Why Are You Using Corrupt Officials' Money to Start a Rebellion?

Special forces soldier Chen Xiang transmigrates after an accident during training. From the start, he falls from the sky and crashes through the carriage of a Mongolian princess traveling to be married, becoming her enslaved personal attendant. Now he has to accompany the princess, who is resisting the marriage, on a thousand-mile escape!

The government has laid a vast net ahead, while behind them, starving people litter the land at the end of the Yuan dynasty. At their most desperate, Chen Xiang pulls out the princess's golden token.

I'm done running. I'll impersonate an imperial commissioner instead!

Corrupt officials in Daming Prefecture demand bribes? Confiscate their estates, execute them, and send their silver to the treasury!

The great families of Bianliang run rampant? Punish them under military law and hand over their vast fortunes!

Chang Yuchun is a bandit? Recruit him! Fu Youde is a low-ranking soldier? Shower him with ten thousand taels of silver and send him to the White Lotus Sect! Hu Dahai rules the mountains? Teach him a lesson with the art of war, then recruit him into the army!

Yuan officials weep with gratitude: "The imperial commissioner is truly a pillar of the court. He's killed all the corrupt officials!"

Yet when Han Shantong and Liu Futong launch their rebellion, the Yuan court discovers in terror that the insurgents' fine steel weapons were supplied by Chen Xiang, their peerless generals leading the charge are all Chen Xiang's men, and even the millions of taels in military funds are all bribes from corrupt officials across the land!

That day, Chen Xiang leads a million troops to the gates of Dadu, smiling as he watches the dragon...
