Born Under an Ominous Star? The Princess Consort Returns and Goes on a Killing Spree

Liu Zhao, the unlucky legitimate daughter of the Marquis of Changning's household.

Her stepmother says she is cursed, and her scumbag father throws her out. She falls off a cliff after being stabbed twenty times.

The good news: she's alive. The bad news: her enemies think she's dead.

Five years later, the capital is rocked: the marquis's legitimate daughter, who plunged to her death, has come back from the grave!

She returns, transformed, to collect her debts, while her family scrambles to keep up appearances.

Liu Zhao: Don't rush. I'll get to each of you in turn.

From then on... she plays dead during the day and goes out to kill with a blade at night.

The marquis's daughter is a murderous maniac? Everyone in the capital knows it.

Night has fallen, and Miss Liu is once again heading out with her blade.

But this time, she's killed the emperor's son.

People throughout the empire make excuses for her: "The prince must have brought it on himself. Miss Liu was right to kill him."

And what about Shen Yanzheng, the illustrious Prince Zhaoming, famed for his military exploits?

At first meeting: This woman is trouble.

Later: My wife is invincible! Want to take someone out? I'll hand you the blade.

Liu Zhao opens schools for girls and establishes charity homes, so women across the land can hold their heads high.

Later, Shen Yanzheng ascends the throne and pins her against the headboard, spending every day in intimate embraces.

"Zhao'er, I'll give you this empire. Please love me again..."
