We Agreed on Military-to-Civilian Conversion, So What Is This Anti-Tank Tractor?

While others move from military to civilian production, making thermoses, washbasins, and electric fans,

Wei Zhufeng makes desert tractors, armored engineering vehicles, and long-range firefighting rockets... or rather, civilian cloud-seeding equipment.

The leader stares at the blueprints in silence. “You call this a tractor?”

Wei Zhufeng keeps a straight face. “Of course.”

“Then what are these four sets of connectors for?”

“To attach farm implements.”

“Why is the cab bulletproof?”

“To protect the driver.”

“What if the customer installs an antitank missile?”

“Unauthorized modifications are strictly prohibited!”

Years later, products from the Liaoyuan Factory are selling like hotcakes overseas.

Customer reviews: Useful, durable, cheap, civilian.

The relevant authorities: All paperwork is in order, and it earns foreign currency.

The enemy: Why can your tractors shoot tanks?!
