Mistaken Identity in the 1980s: The Voluptuous Beauty Is Spoiled Rotten

[Period setting + mistaken marriage + sweet romance + love after marriage + a soft, adorable little fox who plays dumb to catch the tiger vs. a stern, fatherly engineer]

The illiterate little fox Zhou Qinghe came down from the mountains wanting only to stay alive.

She acted obedient and pitiful, sticking close every day to the fiancé she believed was hers, the rugged engineer Jiang Jingchen.

Just as she was about to succeed, her real fiancé appeared. It turned out she had mistaken him for someone else from the very beginning!

She promptly ran away, only to discover that the man was a hypocrite!

When she was at her lowest, Jiang Jingchen took her in again.

Using her wood-based powers, she turned the Gobi Desert into thousands of acres of fertile farmland.

Before she knew it, she had become a nationally protected asset of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences!

…

Jiang Jingchen’s fiancé, Zhou Xiaohe, a woman obsessed with wealth and status, showed up at his door one day.

This woman had become soft and sweet, and she played the victim as she burrowed into his arms.

He thought she would leave once she had finished making a scene. Who knew this little liar would actually cling to him?

Just as he resigned himself to accepting her, he realized she had mistaken him for someone else.

Watching his silly wife get tricked away, Jiang Jingchen dropped his disguise and secretly taught the scumbag a lesson.

But after the little fox recovered, she actually thought he was in the way and wanted to find someone new?

Jiang Jingchen could only look at her with wounded, reddened eyes and plead in a hoarse voice:

“Wifey, you used me and now you’re running away? Come on, give me some more love…”
