You Told Me to Tend the Swords, So Why Did I Raise a Sect-Founding Treasure?

Life lamps come in nine grades. Only those who awaken a life lamp can enter an immortal sect and embark on the path to immortality.

Jiang Xiaobai, a mountain boy born without a lamp, awakened an ordinary-grade one with the help of a broken lamp given to him by a strange old man at the temple, and step by step entered the path of immortality.

Others cultivate immortality with their life lamps. He seeks the Dao with a broken lamp.

Starting out as the lowest of the low, a menial sword-tending servant, he advances step by step: mending his broken lamp, condensing lamp essence, forging a lamp dais, and reaching eternal life.

So what if I was born without a lamp?

I have a broken lamp that can still illuminate the immortal path through the ages.
