You Waited Until After We Slept Together to Tell Me You're a Big Shot in Beijing?

"You're my husband!"

Jiang Ning nervously handed a fake marriage certificate to Xiao Du, the amnesiac heir to a powerful family in the capital.

Rumor had it that Xiao Du was cunning and ruthless, and never let an offense go unpunished. But ten days ago, through a series of mishaps, Jiang Ning had mistaken him for her regular hookup and slept with him.

When she learned he was searching everywhere to settle the score, she fled overnight, practically carrying a train on her back.

She never imagined he'd find her anyway. By then, though, Xiao Du had been injured and lost his memory. All he remembered was that they'd slept together.

To avoid his revenge, Jiang Ning went along with it and claimed they were married, hoping to make him fall in love with her so he'd let her off the hook when his memory returned.

She used every ounce of her acting skills to play a clingy, adoring wife.

"Honey, your lips are so soft. Give me another kiss!"

"Honey, let me feel those abs~"

Their marriage was fake, but their married life was real. They spent every night too busy to know which way was up.

He helped her dominate the workplace and found an antidote for her birth mother's illness. Jiang Ning truly fell for him.

Finally, she worked up the courage to come clean.

"Actually... I lied to you. We're not married, and our marriage certificate is fake, too."

Xiao Du put an arm around her waist, a meaningful smile on his lips.

"Silly wife, I burned the fake one. This one is real."
