The Sword Bearer

Three thousand years ago, the human world was corrupted by blood fiends. A red moon rose at night, and a black sun climbed the sky by day!

Blood fiends and demonic energy corrupted heaven and earth, turning spiritual energy into baleful and demonic energy! Beasts, demons, ghosts, and evil spirits, along with every kind of monster, seized the opportunity to rise!

From then on, demons and evil spirits sat high upon divine altars, calling themselves the gods of the human world and enjoying the incense offerings of all living beings, nourished by every spirit!

Meanwhile, below the altars, human lives were worth no more than grass, and people were treated like pigs and dogs!

Three thousand years later, a young man was unearthed from the ruins of the gods and demons. He possessed an ancient divine seed that could devour demons and fuse with baleful energy. He could cultivate demonic and forbidden arts as well as the ancient righteous ways of humanity.

After witnessing the harrowing apocalypse of the human world, he resolved to change it: he would wield his sword for humanity and protect all living beings!

He became the Swordbearer of the human world, raising his sword against the demons and evil spirits between heaven and earth, and against this hopeless age!

Years later, he held the Sky-Devouring Ten Thousand Souls Banner, rolling with demonic energy, in one hand, and the Human World's Righteous Sword, glowing with brilliant white light, in the other. He stood atop a tower of evil skulls and challenged the gods!

Since you claim the living beings of the human world are nothing but a dish on the gods' table, and that we should all accept our deaths, then today, I, Chen, will flip that table over and invite the gods to die!
