The Folk Luck-Changing Bead

[Must protect raw eggs] [Must help old men] [Must lend money] [Must pay attention to road safety!!] Food touched by unclean things looks perfectly normal, but one bite tastes like chewing wax. Poke a hole in a bloodied raw egg, and it can shield a living person from one deadly calamity. Ashes left behind after burning paper offerings by the roadside, rubbed onto your clothes, can blind evil spirits. With a strong destiny, I became my boss’s lucky charm. The rich in this world always want to use the poor as shields against disaster. After taking the money paid for my life, corpse spots began to grow on my body. The people around me died one after another, turning into vengeful ghosts that came knocking at my door. Everyone thought I’d die a gruesome death in the street. But I refused to believe in fate. On a rainy night, I wiped ash across my face and walked into the darkness with a boning knife in hand. If the King of Hell won’t punish the evils of this world, then I’ll become a vengeful ghost who collects the debts.
