Great Tang: Tenfold Overlord Power from the Start, Slaughtering the Entire Zhangsun Clan

"Father, please retire to the Daan Palace!"

"Father, please appoint your son as Crown Prince!"

"Father, please issue an edict granting your son command over all the armies of the realm!"

"Father, please have Consort Xi reward your son with a maid to warm his bed. My palace is short one."

"Father, please hand over the keys to your private treasury..."

In the seventeenth year of Zhenguan, on the night of Changsun Wuji's fiftieth birthday, Li Ke, the Tang emperor's third son and Prince of Liang, launched a palace coup. He had a System, gained ten times the strength of a mighty overlord from the start, and possessed peerless martial prowess. With three thousand Embroidered Uniform Guards and thirty thousand Great Snow Dragon Riders at his command, he carried Changsun Wuji's head into the imperial palace and forced Emperor Li Shimin to step aside and hand over power.

Just after he became Crown Prince, the great clans broke off their betrothal with him. Li Ke flew into a rage, and so he led his troops into a years-long campaign of eliminating the Five Surnames and Seven Houses...

Later.

The Xiao clan of Lanling: "Your Highness, Crown Prince, we are willing to offer a hundred beauties from our clan, three hundred thousand taels of gold, and five million taels of silver. Please show us mercy."

The Wang clan of Taiyuan: "We will surrender all our land. Please stop killing us. All the men of the Wang clan are going to die out."

The Yang clan of Hongnong: "Your Majesty, you can't take every last bit of our money!"

The Cui clan of Qinghe: "Your Majesty, our clan leader's fiancee entered the palace to learn a foreign language from you and hasn't returned in three months. How did she become your consort?"

Prince of Jin Li Zhi: "Your Majesty, on my wedding night, you had my wife, Wu Meiniang, enter the palace to warm your bed. How is that reasonable?"
