The Soul-Calming Blade

My second uncle once swore he would never set foot inside the “Forbidden Zone” again. The things in there had haunted the Li family for a hundred years.

Because of it, he ended up with a lame leg and a broken blade, and became a senile old blacksmith.

The Dragon-Slaying Saber hanging high from the rafters was always there to warn me never to make the same mistake.

But then I ran into something sinister and crossed paths with an evil god.

So I took up the blade.
