Hunting in a Year of Famine: My Wife and Daughter Eat Meat Every Meal

When Qin Mu wakes up, he discovers he has become a despised local thug, with a scrawny wife and three daughters crying from hunger at home. The original owner of the body was a gambling, hard-drinking lowlife who stole chickens and dogs, and gambled away the family’s last half-sack of coarse grain. His desperate wife was about to take their daughters and jump into a well. The villagers pointed at him and called him a man with no heirs, saying no one would even break a basin for him when he died. Qin Mu looks up at the sky and sighs. How is he supposed to deal with this mess? Just as the whole family is waiting to die, a streak of golden light flashes into his mind. “Daily hunting task refreshed: kill three beasts to earn ten jin of coarse grain!”
