Sword of Coming: The Literary Sage's Legacy

The struggle between the Third and Fourth Schools has come to an end. The Sage of Letters' lineage has been branded heretical, its orthodoxy severed, and all Confucian schools across the realm have returned to the Sage of Second Rank's orthodox tradition. Su Qinghe, an orphan from the frontier, stumbles upon fragments of the Sage of Letters' lost writings amid the chaos of a turbulent age. He awakens a literary lineage that has been extinct for a hundred years and inherits the heretical Great Way of “transforming nature and cultivating goodness through education.” The moment this lineage resurfaces, it draws a merciless purge from the Sage of Second Rank's faction. The prefect's office hunts him down at every turn; Confucian cultivators seek to wipe out his line completely; and a death warrant spreads across Tongye Continent. Alone, the boy flees through the rainy night. Driven to the brink, he forges a literary gall and comprehends the Sword Way, daring to challenge the orthodox powers that rule the vast and righteous world with nothing but his humble strength. When he is surrounded by killers and his life hangs by a thread, the Sage of Letters' remnant soul appears to protect his path and point him toward survival. Thousands of miles away, an aloof sword cultivator arrives astride a flying sword, slaying a master of the Sage of Second Rank's faction with a single strike and keeping him safe. He is the last inheritor of the Sage of Letters' lineage, fated to revive its orthodoxy and carrying a century-old flame within him. He travels far to take root and cultivate at the Great Wall of Sword Qi. He nourishes his sword heart with the literary lineage, proves the Great Way with his original resolve, and upholds the righteous path with his sword. No matter how bloody the road ahead or how many enemies surround him, he will never bow. The Sage of Second Rank suppresses him, the heavenly demons plunge the world into chaos, and the road ahead is fraught with obstacles. Su Qinghe advances with sword in hand, keeping faith with the Sage of Letters and safeguarding his master's legacy. He rises from desperation and breaks through every conflict, vowing to rekindle the Sage of Letters' flame and make the long-sealed righteous path of Confucianism shine once more across the vast and righteous world!
