The Washed-Up Star Just Wants to Coast, but the Best Actor Keeps Forcing Him to Work

Office drone Ling Wan transmigrates into the body of a washed-up actress in the entertainment industry, notorious for her scandals. The original host did anything to get famous, constantly riding on the coattails of top-tier stars.

Ling Wan transmigrates right onto the red carpet and makes her decision on the spot: all she wants in this life is to lie flat. Whoever wants fame can have it!

But the exorbitant contract penalty scares her straight. On variety shows, she makes slacking off part of her DNA, yet the top-tier actor Wu Zhaobai keeps pursuing her relentlessly to get back at her.

When she pretends to sleep and slacks off on the show, he shoves the camera in her face. "Look, Teacher Ling Wan is studying immersive relaxation."

On the red carpet, she tries to hide in a corner and blend into the background, but he takes her hand. "Sorry, my girl is shy around strangers. I have to keep an eye on her."

Even when she saves up to quietly quit the entertainment industry, he beats her to it. "Quit? Finish filming this drama with me first."

The whole internet erupts: ??? Is this top-tier star trying to make a flop famous?

Ling Wan is close to tears. I really just want to be a lazy fish!

Later, holding the Best Newcomer trophy, Ling Wan finally realizes:

Every move the actor made from the day she arrived was a carefully planned act of favoritism!
