Back to the Day I Took a Master, My Biased Mentor Can Take a Hike: Extra

[Overachiever Disciple x Laid-Back Master, Master-Disciple Foils, HE]

After breaking through to the next level of cultivation, Yu Lanqing excitedly went to tell her master the good news.

Instead, she saw him helping her junior sister practice sword-riding.

When he heard Yu Lanqing had made a breakthrough, his first reaction was to turn around and comfort her junior sister.

"Don't mind her. She's not as good as you."

At the sect tournament, Yu Lanqing held nothing back. With a single sword strike, she drove her junior sister to the edge of the arena.

Yu Lanqing was still wondering how her junior sister, whom her master called exceptionally talented, could be so weak when...

In the next instant, her master's life-bound spirit sword pierced her heart.

Only then did she understand: it wasn't that she was inferior to her junior sister. Her master was simply biased.

It turned out that her master and junior sister had long since signed a life-and-death pact and become cultivation partners.

On the day she returned to the sect's apprenticeship ceremony, Yu Lanqing crushed the jade token of the chief disciple right in front of her master.

Then she turned and knelt before the hall. "This disciple wishes to join Elder Shen's sect."

As the mountain erupted in uproar, the Grandmaster Shen, mocked as "Xuantian's Greatest Failure," pulled back his hood,

revealing a beautiful face sharper than a sword. "Since you dare wager your life and leap into my pit of fire, then I will show them..."

"What true Heaven-Burning Sword Intent looks like."

When Yu Lanqing once again drove her junior sister to the edge of the life-and-death platform, her former master shouted, "Wretch, how dare you!"

But Shen Huaizhuo's sword energy forced him to his knees. "My disciple is not yours to discipline!"

Cradling his junior sister, whose Dao Heart had shattered, her former master finally saw the truth...

The pearl he had once cast aside was now the sharpest moonlight in someone else's scabbard.
