A Scam to Ascend? I Gain a Century of Cultivation Every Day

Song Ye ascends to immortality, then finds himself utterly bewildered.

The immortal realm is nothing like he imagined. There is no ethereal celestial aura, only the weight of a mining pick. After a thousand years of hard cultivation in the lower realm, he arrives only to be named a menial disciple of the Skyfire Sect, with a trial stint as a miner and an immortal-world loan shark's deal: one percent daily interest, compounded until his body is seized as collateral.

The good news: he comes with a System that gives him a century of cultivation every day for free.

The bad news: he owes 100,000, his body will be refined into a puppet, and his soul will be turned into a spirit.

Looking at the bottomless Red Dragon Immortal Mine before him and the fellow disciples eyeing him greedily, Song Ye weighs the immortal pick in his hand.

"Let's start with a small goal: bury the senior brothers who lent me money."

No creditors means no need to repay the debt, of course.
