I Just Want to Draw Comics Quietly

Chu Yu is a seasoned anime and manga fan, a shut-in in the eyes of others, and a manga author who lets his readers down!

One day, he acquired a System containing many outstanding manga works from Earth in a parallel world…

And began what he considered a legendary life as a manga artist, but what was really a career full of disappointments!

Reader A: “Sensei, please, could you finish Hunter x Hunter before starting another series? It’s been on hiatus for three years. Three years, then another three! It’s been ten years since you started it. Do you want my son to burn the ending of Hunter x Hunter for me after I’m dead?”

Reader B: “You old scoundrel Chu Yu, what the hell do you know about CL? Bring Nagisa Furukawa back to life, or I’ll mail you a box cutter tomorrow!”

Reader C: “Yeah, sure, Slam Dunk ended with Shohoku losing in the national quarterfinals? You old serial hole-digger, Chu Yu, do you think you can get away with saying ‘the dreams of youth are imperfect’? I swear, I’ll never read another one of your works again. I’d rather die, die out on the street, or jump off the roof of my own building!”
