The Same Draft Class as Duncan

All Chinese basketball fans regret that China’s era of great guards and era of great centers never coincided. If, at the peak of the Golden Generation of 1994, a Chinese center even greater than Yao Ming had risen to prominence, then the future of Chinese basketball...

And so Xu Liang, bringing his guard’s dribbling and passing skills with him, transmigrates to 1997.

Hu Weidong said, “Xu Liang may be a jerk, but I have to admit, I wouldn’t have joined the NBA without him.”

Dan Tao said, “Xu Liang? You mean the guy I beat?”

Shaquille O’Neal said, “Xu is the only person besides Hakeem Olajuwon who could go toe-to-toe with me at my peak.”

Tim Duncan said, “Xu is great in every way, but why won’t he let me touch his head?”

Gregg Popovich said, “Xu is a hardworking kid. (Inner thoughts: Damn, if it weren’t for the Chinese market, just you wait!)”

A note: This is my first sports novel, and I’m still making adjustments. If anything falls short... I’ll do my best to improve it!
