The Happiness of an Extra Is Beyond Your Imagination

Years later, a reporter asked, "You've helped more than a dozen actors and actresses become stars. Why are you still working as an extra? Is it so you won't forget your roots?"

Jiang Yan smiled.

"Because being an extra is what made everything else possible.

"Besides, only when I put on a costume can I go to that other world.

"There, I've witnessed the land torn apart.

"I've also lived through the flash of blades and shadows of swords in the martial world.

"I've drunk with Li Bai.

"And picked peaches with the Seven Fairies.

"I've held power over all under heaven, and I've reached up to pluck the moon from the Ninth Heaven.

"So...

"You can't imagine how much fun it is to be an extra."
