The Great Qi Coroner

What is a forensic physician? A healer who wields the sword of the law. When the heart is crooked, the sword turns evil. The sword of the law must strike down those who bring calamity upon the people and those who destroy human lives. In my heart, too, there is a sword. This sword exists only to cut through the fog, to speak for the dead and uphold the rights of the living. What? This world has gods, demons, and great monsters? No matter. I can still follow the tiniest clues to uncover the truth, catch criminals, and solve cases. Warriors, Taoists, practitioners of the esoteric arts, or Confucians? Adults don't have to choose. I want them all. A young man in fine clothes rides a fine horse, wielding the sword of justice as an official who examines the dead. A forensic physician from the twenty-first century brings a little shock to this world of gods, demons, and monsters, along with a bit of the light of the modern age. Wait, why has the tone gone off the rails? Don't panic. I have an extraordinary warrior and the Demon Court's empress to prop up the building. That won't stop me from discussing life with my confidantes... (Don't get the wrong idea. This isn't a harem novel. After all, I'm an upstanding man.)
