Evolving from a Clone

“My name is Su Ze.”

“I thought I’d transmigrated into the body of a government official’s son. Turns out I’m just his clone, a scapegoat for his crimes and a disposable pawn to fake his death and help him escape punishment.”

“And to make matters worse, I’m scheduled to be executed tomorrow, but my cheat still hasn’t arrived…”

A thousand years ago, a rain of evolution fell, ushering in an age of global evolution.

Animals, plants, and humans all gained the potential to evolve into higher forms of life.

But humans evolved differently: they had to absorb extracts from higher lifeforms to complete their evolution, and each time they did, they gained one of the extract's owner's skills.

Absorb the extract of an “immortal salamander” and gain the ability to regenerate severed limbs;

absorb the extract of an “ironclad oyster” and gain the ability to change sex at will;

absorb the extract of a “forest giant cockroach” and become an unkillable cockroach;

absorb the extract of a “bombardier beetle” and gain the ability to spray powerful acid from your rear end with a loud bang;

absorb the extract of a “giant dung beetle” and learn to push dung…

Su Ze arrives in this world, wanting to see what lies at the end of life…
