Back to the Song Dynasty: The Rise of an Empire

If the Tang Empire won a war, it would tell its opponent: “You’d better behave from now on. One wrong move, and I’ll wipe out your entire clan. Pay tribute every year, like you’re supposed to!”

If the weak Song Dynasty won, it would tell its opponent: “Oh, look, I won. Does that mean I’m allowed to negotiate peace now? Does that mean I’m allowed to pay tribute? What? I am? Wow, that’s wonderful!”

I will change all of this! Anyone who dares suggest peace will have their entire clan executed!
