Altering History Is Good Business

Lin You never expected that he’d still have to work after transmigrating. Before transmigrating, he worked for capitalists. After transmigrating, he worked for the gods. The gods might all look kind and benevolent, but when it came to scheming, they were even more ruthless than capitalists. Fortunately, this construction project funded jointly by the gods, called the “Great World Project,” needed Lin You to do what he’d been doing in his previous life: rewrite history and make things up. He’d already transmigrated. What else could he do? There was nowhere to call the cops for help. All he could do was rely on the little core expertise he still had and deal with the circle of bosses funding the project above his head, for now. A tool, a troubleshooter, a fall guy… First, he’d play the role the job demanded, maintain his image as a fair and neutral professional, and quietly skim a few benefits for himself. Then he’d see if he could gradually work his way up. At least rewriting history was a pretty good business, when you looked at it that way.
