Reviving the New Ming

Li Zhenxin, a prop maker for a modern film crew, accidentally transmigrated to Yan’an in the seventeenth year of Chongzhen. Thus began his arduous and tumultuous life in the late Ming. He became the wool thief hated by the Manchus, a close and trusted brother to the rebel army in northern Shaanxi, and the General Who Conquers the North, both loved and loathed by the Yongli Emperor. The Donglin Party denounced him as Li the Bandit, a brat not worth working with, while the people of northern Shaanxi revered him as the Mighty Tiger General. He put Hong Chengchou on the list of traitors, built a medical college for Wu Youxing, and even persuaded the eighty-year-old Song Yingxing to head north to Yan’an. He rekindled the spirit of the people in the late Ming and rebuilt a brand-new Ming dynasty!
