Showbiz: Conquering the Entertainment Industry Through the Host Competition

After transmigrating to a parallel world, Zhang Lin discovers that he has become a CCTV news anchor, and is currently broadcasting live.

Faced with an anchor's desk where every word carries weight and the tone is formal and serious, with no room for even the slightest mistake, he feels immense pressure. He doesn't want to become the star of a CCTV blooper reel.

Just as he is at his wit's end, a System descends at the crucial moment, helping him become the most dazzling person in the room.

From then on, with his golden finger and unwavering effort, Zhang Lin takes one step at a time toward becoming the model CCTV host of a new era.

In “Classics of China,” he sparks a wave of interest in classical literature;

In “World Football,” he gives a nation starved of football the best football program around;

In “The 10th Screening Room,” he makes the stars and moguls of the film industry love and hate him;

In “Focus,” his overflowing talent turns a news program into a popular check-in spot.

He is the top rapper under the CTV label, Jonathan Zhang Lin.
