Honghuang: I'm Kui Niu, and I Guide Nuwa Creates Humans from the Start

Niu Kui transmigrated to the primordial world and became the first ox born after the creation of the world. After cultivating for countless epochs, he had gained intelligence and could speak, yet he still couldn’t transform into human form. Niu Kui decided to seek out a mighty cultivator and ask when he would finally be able to transform. But along the way, he encountered a young woman molding clay figurines. Niu Kui said, “Hey, little girl, that’s not how you mold a person.” The girl smiled radiantly. “Black Ox, then tell me how to mold a clay person.” Niu Kui spoke with a silver tongue, recounting the story of Nuwa Creates Humans for seven days and seven nights, until flowers rained from the sky and lotuses blossomed with every step. The next moment, Empress Nuwa molded a clay figure and dripped her own blood essence into it. The figure came to life. Kui Ox was stunned. “Y-you’re Empress Nuwa...” Nuwa Creates Humans made Empress Nuwa a sage, and unexpectedly earned Niu Kui half a share of the merit of creating humanity. It also gave him a glimpse of the opportunity to transform. The answer was merit. Only by gaining more merit could he transform and survive the Witch-Demon Calamity. Niu Kui eagerly volunteered to protect humanity for Empress Nuwa for ten thousand years.
