I Paint Rouge for the Tyrant

After becoming a good-for-nothing young noble, Ning Wushuang's only problem is that she accidentally becomes a star.

The Empress Dowager has a headache and asks her to put on a show as treatment.

The Empress has a heart condition and asks her to put on a show to soothe it.

The Emperor can't eat or sleep, so he asks her to put on a show and see if it helps his appetite.

The princess takes a liking to "him" and wants to marry "him" and have babies.

Word spreads through the capital: Young Lord Ning has become the favorite entertainer of the entire imperial harem!

And so a craze for learning opera sweeps the capital...

Before long, Master Ning has students everywhere and is raking in tuition fees...

A certain prince watches a certain woman lick her finger and count her banknotes, her cheeks flushed with delight, and decides she's got the makings of a bewitching consort who should win favor with her beauty.

He reaches out and pinches her cheek with a long finger. "Those few banknotes are worth all that counting? Why bother scheming for money when you could scheme for me?"

Until one day.

The new emperor ascends the throne, and everyone stares at the breathtaking empress above, who looks exactly like their Master Ning... and falls into a strange silence.

(One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's one and only.)
