This Immortal Venerable Isn't Very Cold

Recently, Venerable Immortal Yanche, the most powerful cultivator in the Xianling Sect, formed a Mystic Spirit body. Following the method recorded in ancient texts, he summoned a divine beast, only to get an adorable little child instead, becoming the laughingstock of the sect. After much soul-searching, the two elders of the Xianling Sect decided to kill the useless beast and have Yanche summon something wildly powerful and unbelievably cool instead. But then…the useless beast snapped its fingers. “Don’t even think about killing me! I’m a mutant divine beast, immortal and indestructible!” “…” Later, Venerable Immortal Yanche personally stepped in. The beast grew anxious. “Your Reverence, what are you doing? I’m just a beast!” “Oh? Then you may call this act of mine capturing a beast!”
