A Medic’s Diary in Konoha

A healer's heart knows compassion, and the world of Naruto is no exception. Takagi Naohito is about to challenge traditional medical beliefs! Organ transplants, human cloning, even artificial bio-humans. “Choose between the constraints of traditional thinking and a far higher patient survival rate, Third Hokage.” During the Second Shinobi World War, Takagi Naohito stood before Hiruzen Sarutobi and challenged him: “Do you want the patient to die or live? That's up to you. After all, you're the Hokage.” He introduced a rule to the shinobi world, one that was never officially proclaimed but was quietly observed by every major ninja village. During wartime, medical ninja are not to be killed. (The story is mostly original. Please don't flame me if it's not to your taste.)
