Waiting for You Beneath the Pear Tree

Yi Xiangxiang, a girl from the countryside, gets into the best senior high school in the city. Unlike other children, she did not have a happy childhood: she lost her little brother and caused her father's death, leaving her to struggle through life. One reason she came to the city for school was to find the brother who shares her birthmark. Faced with the materialistic bustle of urban life, she finds herself curious about everything. The day before school starts, she meets Yin Tianhao, a wealthy banker's son with a rebellious streak, and comes away unimpressed. But on the first day of school, she runs into him again. Up close, she realizes that the person her mother described as having a pair of absolutely perfect hands really does exist. A series of mishaps lands them at the same desk, and soon they begin to fall for each other. The two promise to come back together in spring, when they can watch the flowers bloom and fade. What will happen as Yi Xiangxiang searches for her younger brother?
