Matchmaking Through Cultivation

A lovely shadow spies on the matchmaker beneath the moon,

A beauty grows old, and the thread of fate is hard to find.

She'd rather sacrifice herself to cultivate a better next life,

Yet resents the merciless Old Man of the Moon.

The moon is shadowed, the wind still restless,

Her white robes flutter as she reaches her final end.

Love remains, her longing cannot be erased,

Yet fate has left you and me with too little time.

At last, we part in sorrow and bitterness.

No, no, no!

I forsake this life and the next,

From now on, you and I are strangers.

Why fear life or death?

I watch in silence as life and death unfold, smiling at the world.
