No books with wildly inconsistent golden fingers, double standards, or no morals or twisted values. 3. No painfully obvious character issues, like brainless do-gooders, fake do-gooders, Mary Sues, or Gary Stus. (This is important.) 4. No terrible writing. 5. No wish-fulfillment stories. 6. Strong Female Leads: More Than Just Talk
Strength isn’t just something you talk about. It’s not having a space to farm and level up, a cute divine beast for a pet, or a god-tier male lead to power-level you. A female cultivator’s strength should come from within, shining through in the details. She should be independent, self-reliant, and always striving to improve. If a cultivation novel gives the heroine a powerful male lead whom she depends on, whether knowingly or not, then it isn’t the kind of cultivation story I enjoy or approve
