The Qing Dynasty Years

What? She’s transmigrated to the final years of the Kangxi reign? And she’s that utterly ill-fated Little Nian Gao!

What is she supposed to do? She doesn’t want to watch her children die one by one before her eyes! And she certainly doesn’t want to be some over-the-top villain or vicious supporting female character!

She cries out in despair, “Heavens, I may be a little willful now and then, but I’ve never done anything to be ashamed of! You can’t treat me like this!”

Since she has no choice, she’ll just have to work hard to change her miserable fate.

Who says Yinzhen is always cold and expressionless? That’s just how he acts around outsiders. He’s cold on the outside but warm inside, and surprisingly sensitive when it comes to feelings.

This is a different Si Si, a Little Nian Gao who isn’t selfish, and a life spent striving together in the final years of the Kangxi reign, along with a different experience of the succession struggle.

Xiao Yao will do her best to respect history and won’t make up major events. If you dislike Nian Gao and are going to bash the book without reading it, please click the X and move along. Readers who do read it are welcome to speak up and share their thoughts.
