The Blood-Dropper

The Blood-Drop Sash was Emperor Yongzheng’s secret service, divided into the Civil Blood-Drop Sash and the Martial Blood-Drop Sash. The Civil Blood-Drop Sash operated in the shadows among senior government officials and local magistrates, while the Martial Blood-Drop Sash could scale walls and leap across rooftops, specializing in eavesdropping and assassination. Its primary purpose was to keep tabs on officials at every level and maintain stability in the provinces, securing Yongzheng’s rule.

Yuyang, Yongzheng’s younger sister, believed he had stolen the throne from their brother, the Fourteenth Prince Yunti. She founded the Zhiwei Society and resolved to cut off Yongzheng’s head. The book Blood-Drop Sash tells of the conflict between the Blood-Drop Sash and the Zhiwei Society, as well as the struggle between Yongzheng and his sister, Princess Yuyang. From court intrigue to social conflict, the story unfolds in a tragic and brutal world of bloodshed and mass executions, painting a gripping picture of history.
