Peninsula: It Began with a Chance Encounter with Kim Ji-won in an Elevator

On a business trip, Qin Ran was caught in an earthquake and a flash of white light. When he opened his eyes, he had become Cui Shiyu, the illegitimate son of Chairman Cui of Seoul's Sky Group.

But the old man played favorites. His other children got generous shares, while Qin Ran inherited only an entertainment company on the verge of bankruptcy, a trust fund large enough to last a lifetime, and a luxury apartment in Gangnam District.

The only consolation was a super-sized orange cat who claimed to be from the Meow Meow Universe.

One day, the fat orange cat pointed at a female star on TV and slapped the sofa excitedly. "Sign her! That face, those legs, that star power. She's a money tree!"

Qin Ran took a look. What a coincidence, wasn't this the woman next door who thought he was a perverted stalker and screamed for help in the elevator, calling him a creep?

Qin Ran: "Miss Kim Ji Won, would you be interested in changing agencies?"

Only after signing did Kim Ji Won discover that she was the only person in the company doing any work. The boss brought his cat to work every day, and the cat looked more like the boss than he did.

After filming until her legs gave out, she came home to find Qin Ran sprawled on the sofa, petting the cat and watching a show.

Kim Ji Won was furious. "Why am I the only one in this company working so hard? You can go act too!"

Qin Ran: "I'm the boss."

Kim Ji Won: "So what if you're the boss? Doesn't the boss answer to the boss's wife?"

The fat orange cat chimed in from the side: "Mom's right."

Kim Ji Won shot it a fierce glare. "I almost forgot about you!"

The fat orange cat nearly peed itself in fright. "I'm a cat!"

Kim Ji Won: "Who says cats can't act? If you can't perform, I'll send you to the circus!"

And so, a former office drone, a famous actress, and a fat cat from the Meow Meow Universe began their chaotic daily adventures building a business in the entertainment industry.
