Long Song of the Celestial Ruins

On the night the Heavenly Ruins collapsed, someone sang an entire era out of existence with a single song.

A thousand years later, Jiang Xun, a blacksmith's apprentice in Qingshi Town, carries an unextinguished star inside him. Each time the star shines, it records a verse of the Star Song; each time it dims, he forgets a memory. The Star Song is not a set of techniques, but a form of understanding. Only by understanding it can he cultivate it for himself.

All he wants is to protect the people of the town, the blacksmith's shop, and the unfinished letter. But then the beast tide comes, followed by the sects, the dynasty, and even the star sea. The gate to the Heavenly Ruins lights up in the direction of the star sea, and only half a character of an Old God's name appears.

Only then does Jiang Xun understand: what he picked up was not a star, but the era that was sung out of existence.

The song is still being sung, and wherever it reaches, that era begins to blur.

He must finish the song, or find the one singing it.
