Water Margin: The Heroes Return to Song

When others travel into Water Margin, they rush to join Liangshan. Shen Mo is determined to do the opposite.

Lin Chong need not flee to Liangshan on a snowy night. Wu Dalang need not die in his pancake shop. Lu Zhishen need not pass away at Liuhe Temple. Shen Mo will give these heroes a way out that doesn't involve becoming outlaws or throwing their lives away: join the imperial army, earn glory, and live with dignity.

But this path is harder than rebellion.

Liangshan is gathering its heroes, the court is carving up the spoils, and the Jin cavalry is already sharpening its blades in the north.

With a spear in hand, Shen Mo travels from Qingzhou to Dongjing, from the county office to the Bureau of Military Affairs.

In this life, he will uphold justice in Heaven's name and bring the heroes back to serve Song.
