Starforger of the Misty Sea

Lin Yan, an apprentice smith in a border town, finds a cracked piece of copper among a heap of discarded artifacts. From then on, he is drawn into the Star Furnace Network, the Mist Tide, old mining veins, and a struggle over standards. Starting with repairing the lighting patterns on a stretch of city wall, he breaks down a giant anchor into smaller ones, builds cooperative anchors, connects ecological anchors, repairs the main furnace, adjusts energy distribution, investigates the merchants' guild's dark dealings, rescues his master, and establishes the Star Furnace Academy. In the end, he takes the star-pattern standards from the border town to the entire Mist Sea route, the South Sea route, the western branch routes, and the cities and fishing villages beyond the Star Furnace Network.
