Spirit Detective He Shouli: My Cat Solves Crimes

He Shouli knows the rules of Jinmen City better than anyone:

Spirits must be registered with the authorities. People must pay taxes and perform service as required by law. Anyone who crosses the line ends up in the Wastelands.

The second son of the He family and a private detective, He Shouli has just one rule: handle only one case at a time.

Until the city's most pampered only son disappears, leaving behind nothing but a snapshot camera and a cat's mouth bared in a snarl.

The police can't solve the case, and the Imperial Astronomical Bureau won't take it on.

He Shouli steps into the case with a stray cat he's just adopted. He never imagined that

this odd-eyed cat, one eye green and the other blue, could pick locks, follow people, and take a blade for him.

Even stranger is the cat's previous owner.
