The Last Years of Chongzhen: Saving My Father to Turn the Tide

In the thirteenth year of Chongzhen's reign, the Great Ming was on the brink of collapse, and rebels ravaged the land.

Sun Shirui transmigrated and became the son of Sun Chuanting.

At this time, Sun Chuanting had already spent two years imprisoned in the Imperial Prison. Zheng Chongjian was about to be removed from office, and the Qin army in Shaanxi had no leader. In a few years, his father would be ordered to march beyond the pass and face Li Zicheng in a decisive battle, only to suffer defeat and die.

And the Great Ming would fall.

Knowing how it ends, how could he sit by and watch?

In this life, Sun Shirui would not settle for saving only himself.

He would go to the capital to rescue his father, reform the Qin army, hold Tong Pass, and rewrite the tragedies that were fated to happen.

He would garrison the Qing army, investigate missing funds, reorganize troop strength, and establish supply depots.

At court, he would navigate the conflict between the Chongzhen Emperor and Yang Sichang. In the camps, he would win over fierce generals and rebuild the Qin army. Beyond Tong Pass, he would wait for the right moment, never gambling his soldiers' lives on a battle doomed to fail.

Li Zicheng wants to enter the pass?

Let him ask the Qin army at Tong Pass whether they'll allow it!

As long as the Great Ming had not yet reached its final hour, he would try to save it.

Starting with rescuing his father, he would turn the tide and save the realm!
