The Creepy, Damp Ghost Guy Is So Cool, I'm the Only One Who Loves Him

Every midnight, the Haunted House app manifests in the real world.

The ghosts behind its doors are brilliant, absurdly powerful, vicious, and bloodthirsty. Anyone who crosses them dies.

Players around the world are terrified, and everyone fears for their life.

Lu Xiayao gets dragged inside, too.

But she firmly believes this is an immersive romance conquest game with an unconventional twist.

And so...

When others see ghosts, they drop to their knees and beg for mercy. When she sees one, she rushes over to fawn on him.

Others are so scared their legs give out. She sprints a hundred meters.

Others hide from the ghosts under the bed. She chases the male ghosts through the entire haunted house.

[Affection: -100? No big deal. There's plenty of room to improve.]

[This game is a little creepy, sure, but every male ghost is handsome. The artists really get me.]

[My teammates all disappeared? Great, now I can focus on a one-on-one conquest. Just how I like it.]

The ghosts are apocalyptic fiends in everyone else's eyes, but in hers, they're husbands chosen by fate.

Later, players across the server discover something bizarre: the death rates in haunted houses are starting to plummet.

Because the ghosts are too busy to kill anyone???

After that, Lu Xiayao fights her way from an F-rank gate all the way to SSS-rank, becoming the server's number-one god-tier player and bringing every ghost to heel.

The once-vicious, bloodthirsty fiends start putting on a daily battle royale of romance, leaving players across the server wide-eyed with disbelief.

At last, the System chimes in:

[Congratulations, player Lu Xiayao, on becoming the first survivor to clear every haunted house.]

Lu Xiayao freezes.

Survivor?

She slowly looks up and sees the blood-red words: Haunted House Escape Game.

Wait...

This... isn't a romance conquest game???
