An Inquiry into the Source of Dust

I did not read much in my youth and know only the basics of writing and literature. I am merely a middle-aged man from the countryside.

When people speak of prophecies and predictions, some regard them as revelations granted by Heaven, while others dismiss them as absurd nonsense. Most such claims are scattered across street-corner chatter, village elders' stories, and short clips circulating online. People go back and forth, each insisting on their own view, and opinions abound.

I do not have the means to bury myself in books, searching everywhere for rare works and fragmentary manuscripts or comparing inscriptions with historical records. The extensive knowledge and layers of research needed to distinguish their origins are beyond what I could accumulate or verify on my own.

All I do is gather the popular discussions drifting around and the questions people are curious about, then use the capabilities of modern intelligence to organize and summarize them. I strip away the layers of sensationalism and embellishment, pick out some of the facts, and explain them in a clear, measured way.

People see me analyze prophecies and assume I have a library's worth of knowledge and firm opinions of my own. In truth, that is not the case.

My confidence in judging whether these rumors are true or false comes not from my own learning, but from modern technology, which allows me to glimpse a little of their origins. I am merely someone who brings topics together and relays conclusions. I still cannot fully grasp the vast body of research behind them.

Whenever rumors of prophetic signs spread widely and stir heated discussion, if someone is willing to listen and ask, I will sort through them and examine them one by one.

I do not seek to uncover every hidden secret, nor dare I claim to know the whole picture. I only hope to clear away some of the rumors floating on the surface, so that those who are interested may read and reflect.
