Warrior of the Frozen Wastes

In the final years of the Great Jing dynasty, the realm fell into ruin. Oppressive taxes ran rampant, bandits and monsters rose everywhere, and human life was worth less than dirt.

The orphan Chen Yue was born with an unusual constitution: his flesh, skin, muscles, and bones could endure far more hardship than those of ordinary people. With only his young sister by his side, he struggled to survive at the bottom of Qingshi Town.

He had no school or master to inherit from, no heavenly gift of mystical arts. He relied only on the rudimentary Savage Mountain Ironbody Art, pounding and training himself day and night, enduring the pain to temper his bones.

Thugs demanded protection money, powerful men bullied the weak, and dangers in the chaotic age came one after another.

His fists and feet were his only defense; his flesh and blood, his armor.

There were no powers to fly through the sky or burrow underground, only bodily strength forged inch by inch, and chances to survive won through battle after deadly battle.

He tempered his bones in the mire and sought a way forward amid the deadly traps of a chaotic age.

An ordinary martial artist, relying on no lucky breaks, only hard fists and unyielding bones, protects his family, braves the troubled times, and carves out a survival path of martial arts for those at the very bottom.
